Christmas and 5 month update

Hard to believe that Christmas is already over and we are well into 2015!

2014 was a very stressful year- Eric and I struggled with some financial issues that we are still batteling but I am confident that 2015 will be SO much better for us in that area. My family/friends experienced 4 deaths within 6 months this year. Two of which were within 2 weeks of each other. My sweet mom lost her sister in June and her mom in December. My brother lost his ex-wife who is the mother of my precious nieces and nephew and one of my very best friends lost her mom to a long hard fought battle with cancer.

On top of all of this stress and sadness, giving birth to my precious Nathan has been the one thing to keep me smiling & seeing the positive. He brings SO much joy and happiness to our family and I just love watching him grow and learn.

To be honest, I am so happy to put 2014 behind me and have a fresh start. Looking forward to 2015 being filled with less worry, more happiness, stronger faith and a healthy family!

Here is the last month/Christmas in pictures :)

Me, Eric, Nate and my parents went to see the Christmas lights at the Botanical Gardens this year. It was alright but the fact that it was so packed made it a little less enjoyable. I know this year will be much better since Nathan will be able to enjoy so much more about Christmas!

Nathan has started experimenting with a few baby foods and so far loves Carrots, Sweet Potatoes and Squash :) As you can tell he has also found his feet and loves to grab them and put them in his mouth any chance he gets!

So happy in the mornings :)

Here he is on Christmas Eve in his little vest with a mohawk :)

Christmas was great this year- Christmas Eve we went to a nice dinner with Mark, Marti, Kenli, Cade and Lori. Afterwards, we came back to our house to watch Christmas Vacation :).

Christmas Day we all went to my parents and ate and played lots of Ping Pong. Brent, Julie and the boys got into town around 3 and it was so great to see them! I know it is hard to pack for those two boys and fly them down here for 2 days but we are so thankful and appreciative that they do that so we can be with them over the holiday. We love yall!!

The day after Christmas all of the siblings were able to go out without the kiddos which was great and so much fun. Here are some pictures of those couple days!

Absolutely adore this woman. Love you SO much, Aunt Raye!

Cheers to 2015!
